RATES: PAYE with accrued holidays
- Days: £16.68 Per hour
- Afternoons: £16.68 per hour PLUS a shift allowance of £6.69 PAID PER SHIFT
- Saturdays: £18.04 per hour
- Sundays £20.07 per hour
Overtime payable after 10.35 hours daily - £20.80 per hour

HG Recruitment are recruiting CLASS 1 HGV DRIVERS in partnership with SCREWFIX. Professional Class 1 drivers are required to APPLY NOW for their site in Lichfield
DUTIES:
- Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Securing the load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
- Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
- HGV Class 1 drivers must carry out multi-drop deliveries to stores within the delivery window in a safe manner.
- Flexibility is key as you will be required to help other Screwfix sites with store deliveries and trunking where necessary using Cages, trollies and stillages
- Taking collections of empty cages/trollies back to depot
- Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary
- Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
- Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised
- Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service
- Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
- Start times are between 12:00 – 16:00 only

Requirements:
- HGV Class 1 Cat C+E licence – minimum 2 years
- Digi Tacho & CPC cards
- Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
- Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver’s Hours)
- Good national geographical awareness
- Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
- Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised
- Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service
- Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
