HGV Class 1/Shunter Drivers – Wigan

Days/Nights | Immediate starts | 4 on 4 off | 12-hour shift

Pay Rates: (Rolled up)

  • Days: Mon-Fri £22.41 (Rolled up) Saturday £23.76, Sunday £25.05
  • Nights: Mon - Fri £23.53 (Rolled up) Saturday £24.88, Sunday £26.17
  • Overtime if applicable (Over 48 hours £39.02)

***Estimated weekly pay Nights: £1,402.58 per week based on 55 hrs***

***Estimated weekly pay Days: £1,348.82 per week based on 55 hrs***

  • Shunting trailers and vehicles around the site
  • Moving and positioning trailers safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out vehicle and trailer checks
  • Following all site health & safety procedures
  • Working as part of a busy transport operation

Requirements

You must have:

  • A valid UK HGV Class 1 licence
  • A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • Minimum 6 months experience
  • Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules
  • A reliable and professional approach
