Pay rates – holiday pay included:
- Monday to Thursday: AM £16.81 | PM £17.37 | Nights £18.16
- Friday: AM £17.73 | PM £17.93 | Nights £19.05
- Saturday: AM £17.93 | PM £18.49 | Nights £19.61
- Sunday: AM £18.22 | PM £19.05 | Nights £19.95
The role
- Straightforward trunking to distribution centres
- Minimal collections and no handball
- Afternoon start times between 10:00 and 16:00
- Securing loads and completing deliveries safely
- Reporting vehicle defects to the Transport Office
- Regular, ongoing work
Requirements
You must have:
- A valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six points on your licence for minor endorsements
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules
- Good UK geographical knowledge
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A reliable, professional and flexible approach
