RATES:
- Days: from £12.21 up to £18.32 per hour
- Nights: From £13.21- up to 19.82 per hour

HG Recruitment are recruiting for a Home Delivery Van Driver in partnership with Wickes at the Wincanton, campus site. Professional (3.5T delivery drivers) drivers are required to APPLY NOW
to join the team delivering home improvement products directly to customers.
We are recruiting reliable and customer-focused Home Delivery Van Drivers to deliver DIY and home improvement products directly to Wickes customers. This role involves multi-drop home deliveries, ensuring goods arrive safely while providing excellent customer service.
DUTIES:
- Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others
- Loading and securing products in the vehicle to prevent damage during transport
- Completing multi-drop home deliveries within the scheduled delivery window
- Providing excellent customer service during each delivery
- Working with a driver’s mate where required to deliver heavier items safely
- Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required
- Reporting any vehicle defects or delivery issues to the transport office

Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
- Experience driving 3.5T vans preferred but not essential
- Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
- Good geographical knowledge and navigation skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to carry out manual handling and multi-drop deliveries
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently
- Flexible attitude with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction
