Days: from £12.21 up to £18.32 per hour

HG Recruitment are recruiting for a Drivers Mate in partnership with Wickes at Wincanton. Professional Drivers Mate drivers are required to APPLY NOW for their Wickes at the Wincanton, campus site.
We are looking for reliable and customer-focused Driver’s Mates to assist drivers with multi-drop home deliveries. This role involves helping load and unload goods, supporting safe deliveries into customers’ homes, and providing excellent customer service.
DUTIES:
- Assisting the driver with multi-drop home deliveries to customers
- Helping load, unload and move products safely
- Supporting deliveries of larger items requiring two-person handling
- Providing excellent customer service during each delivery
- Ensuring products are handled carefully to prevent damage
- Adhering to safe working practices and manual handling procedures
- Supporting the driver with navigation and delivery paperwork where require

Requirements:
- Good level of physical fitness due to manual handling
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to work early start times
- Previous delivery or warehouse experience helpful but not essential
